Mother’s Day – A Special Day Indeed…

May 12, 2008

Mother’s are special people…  They are examples of love, grace, selflessness, acceptance, and inspiration…  There are 2 Mothers that are so very special to me, the one that I call Momma, and the one that my 2 year old son calls, “MA”…

I can not even begin to express what my Mom means to me…  She has been and still is such a source of inspiration for me…  What is so funny about my Mom is that she thinks she is so weak, but she is a person of profound strength and perseverance…  And I don’t think I have ever know someone so loving, not just loving to people who it’s easy to love, but those who are not so easy to love as well…  And she is a woman forged with deep conviction, who knows God and loves God with all that she is…  I don’t know how God chooses who your Mother will be, and I don’t know why he chose for me to belong to Theresa Weatherford, but I am so very grateful and thankful that he chose for me to have the most amazing Mom ever…  Momma, I am so thankful for you.  Thank you for being a light in a dark, scary cave…  Thank you for being a warm blanket on a freezing cold night…  Thank you for being shelter in the rough storms of life…  Most of all Thank you for loving me when I seemed unlovable, and Thank you for believing in me, when there wasn’t much to believe in…  I love You Momma!!

SORRY…

Kind of a blogging lapse the last few weeks…  I apologize.  I Must say, It has been an interesting few weeks since I have blogged.  My son has become a bully, I have come down with Bronchitis and Pneumonia (but it hasn’t hurt my softball game), and I paid $3.75 a gallon for gas today…  WHATTHECRAP…  $3.75!!!  That’s crazy, it costs me over 100 bucks to fill my truck up with gas…  That’s unacceptable, I am going to buy a seat with wheels that gets like 60 miles to the gallon…  I got to do something…  This thing with Tyler is weird, just out of nowhere he starts hitting and kicking people, he has turned into this little bully, and we have exhausted every kind of discipline there is…  I don’t know what to do…  I am gonna send him to school Monday with his hands tied behind his back and his feet tied together (just kidding)…  Actually there is another kid in his class that hits too, I am hoping Tyler will hit him, and this other kid will knock him out and maybe he won’t hit anymore, on second thought maybe I could pay that kid…  I’ll have to process that a little more…  hhhmmmmmmmm…
