Well… We had our first Oasis Church Launch Team Meeting, and I must say I am very excited about the journey God has us on. We had 9 people in attendance with 2 people who couldn’t make it. We are building a great team which has different types of people of different ages with specific gifts, talents and abilities, and I am very excited to work with all of them. I know God has an incredible plan for us and if we will remain humble and set our gaze upon Him and His will and constantly remember that this is “His Story” not ours, and that we are just blessed to be a part of it, then I believe God will bless our efforts.
It was a great meeting, we got to know one another a little better, we talked about the Oasis Mission, Strategy and Core Values… We heard some history from each team member on how they got to this point and also what their dream church looks like. It was a great night and I look forward to many more.
