We’re pumped about getting started.  Trying to get everything in place.  The money is still coming in slow, but we know God is going to get what we need to us.  We are meeting weekly as a leadership team and are about to start having Vision Gatherings every other week that will be open to anybody and everybody that wants to be a part of Oasis.  I am really excited!  We are looking at and calling about a few different meeting places.  Please be in prayer that God will provide the place we need.  We are praying for the old Barnes & Noble Building…  Join Us…

Thanks for the support…

I Realize It’s Been A While… Insert Many Apologies Here…

October 20, 2008

So I am about to start getting to work, but I know it has been an awfully long time since I last blogged and a lot of stuff has happened since then.  So I thought I would list those things…

2 Softball Tournaments with 9 Games… 8 Fall League Ball Games… a jacked up shoulder and wrist…  an MRI… I will find out if my arm needs surgery tomorrow… Had the opportunity to speak at the NGA State Children’s Conference… had the great honor of speaking for Pastor Kevin (student pastor @ Stevens Creek Church) check them out HERE…  spent a weekend with two great friends… Georgia lost to Alabama… Had the great honor of officiating the wedding of two wonderful people (Dick & Susan Holland)… Tyler got a chunk of his hair pulled out at Daycare (story deserves a blog of it’s own)… Have had two more great team meetings… Received a huge blessing from the Toccoa Church of God (Thank You)… My sister got engaged… I have struggled with the new job but am trying really hard… Enjoyed some Red Lobster Endless Shrimp with Chris and Christy…  Survived a stomach virus that circulated through the house (all were sick except Dad)… Went and visited Perry Keyt and I am believing God for his complete healing… and I am in the middle of making some huge decisions concerning Oasis…

That’s a lot…  I may have left a few things out, but lets face it, you probably could care less, and I have just wasted 1 minute and 26 1/2 second of your life that you will never have back…  YOUR WELCOME…

This week I will try and be more consistent with the blogging…

Until then…  CHASING THE LION…
